Strahd's Domain | Welcome to the wicked world of Ravenloft...

Being an ancient vampire, Strahd has seen and done a lot both in his mortal lifetime and as a vampire. Unfortunately dates sometimes do not agree with one another in the various Ravenloft sources, but I have done my best to compile a reasonable timeline of events.

	323	18	Sergei Von Zarovich born.
Twelth	347	42	The war ends. Strahd finds a valley that lies before the ruins of the warlord's castle. He takes both.
Sixth	348	43	Strahds hates the peace. The inhabitants of Barovia hate Strahd but he doesn't care.
Third	349	44	Strahd has the castle restored. It is named 'Ravenloft' after Strahd's mother, Ravenovia.
Eleventh	349	44	Castle Ravenloft is complete. Strahd turns it into the home of the Von Zaroviches.
Fourth	350	45	Strahd's family arrive and Strahd meets Sergei for the first time.
Sixth	350	45	Sergei takes up the position of Most High Priest, following Kir's death and meets Tatyana.
Sixth	350	45	Strahd murders Sergei, becomes a vampire, ruins the wedding plans and unintentionally causes Tatyana to hurl herself into the Mists.
Tenth	400	95	Tatyana returns as 'Marina'.
Twelth	400	95	Marina is killed by her foster father, the Burgomaster, because he refuses to let Strahd marry her. Strahd slaughters his entire family.
	445	140	Tatyana returns as 'Alina' but dies of a fever.
	469	164	The Vistani arrive by the Mists and Strahd receives a warning from Madam Eva about an inevitable war.
Fourth	475	170	Tatyana returns as 'Olya'. She dies of a fever.
Fourth	475	170	Jander arrives in Barovia after Anna has died of a fever and by Jander's attempts to make her a vampire.
	475	170	Strahd begins to try and extract information and knowledge from Jander.
Third	500	195	Strahd begins his search for Tatyana again.
	542	237	Azalin arrives by the Mists in Barovia from Oerth. Strahd and Azalin meet and ally, agreeing to look for escape from Barovia together.
	542	237	Strahd visits Madam Ilka and discovers more of the future. Madam Ilka gives him a crystal ball.
	543	238	Azalin discovers Strahd's obsession of finding Tatyana every few decades.
	543	238	Strahd and Azalin work together to make a portal out of Barovia. The portal appears but neither can use it.
	543	238	Strahd discovers that Azalin is a lich.
	547	242	Strahd looks for Tatyana again but the girl he finds, Nadia, is not her.
	547	242	Strahd finds newcomers who have come from a land called Forlorn. Strahd has never heard of such a place.
	547	242	Strahd tries to enter Forlorn but cannot break the invisible barrier. He uses an amulet to allow the newcomers' leader, Auric, to explore for him.
	575	270	Strahd discovers that a new land, called Arak, has attached to Barovia's northern border.
	579	274	Strahd and Azalin make yet another attempt to leave Barovia. The results are spectacular and Strahd awakes several weeks later.
	579	274	Azalin remains in Barovia a while longer until he ventures into the Mists again and arrives in Castle Avernus in Darkon.
	579	274	Strahd salvages and translates excepts from Azalin's private commentary notebooks.
	581	276	Strahd sends five warriors to capture and bring back Azalin's second-in-command, a vampire named General Vychen.
